How much does it cost?

1 area of 10,000 homes is $250. This includes the cost of printing, typesetting, postage and labeling (addressing). That is only 2.5cents per home or better. Each additional area added has a graduated scale in price, as we give discounts for multiple areas.

What is the Ad size?

Each Ad is considered to be a full page in the book and its size is 4.75 inches tall by 6.25 inches wide.

How many homes does it reach?

Each area or zone is guaranteed to have at least 10,000 deliverable homes. So, depending on your area choices, we will mail out that many books. Example: 3 areas equals 30,000 books.

How is it delivered?

The books are mailed to homes via the United States Postal Service (your local mail carrier) and is placed into your mailbox or wherever you have designated for US mail delivery.

Is it stuffed into a newspaper or magazine?

No, it is a solo postal item that is delivered independently from newspapers, other Ads or magazines.

How do I know they were delivered?

Upon your request, as a business that advertises with Clips Coupons, you have the right to a copy of the postal receipt from the US Postmaster for that issue.

Who delivers the books?

Your local mail carrier.

What are the colors?

Depending on the issue, for Spring we use Black, White and Green. Summer it’s Black, White and Blue. Fall it’s Black, White and Purple. December it’s Black, White and Red.

Why do you only have 3 colors?

We try to keep the amount of colors down to a minimum because the more colors you have, the higher the costs to print. Likewise, studies have shown that multiple color no longer captures the audiences eye but, it is what is in the offers that count.

How do you think this coupon book will work for my business?

It all depends on the offers, desires for services or products available but, in general, the more your business is put in front of people the better chances you have to bring in customers.

What is the response rate?

Not even going to this level as we do not know the value of your offers compared to your competition and/or the items quality desirability to customers. We would be lying to you if we promised something that can not be delivered.

When do I need to let you know that I’m interested in advertising?

ASAP As we say, knowing the areas you are considering is the important part as we try to minimize competition in the books for your business. Not saying that you would be exclusive, because that would also be a lye rather, we try and spread out the types of businesses in each book to help promote YOUR business. So, if you are considering advertising with us, we suggest you tell us U.S.A. for the next issue. Ad copy can come at a later date, depending when you notify us of your intension.

How do I get a hold of you?

Via e-mail, phone or mail and depending on your business location, we can come to you.

What is/are you/r name/s?

We can give you that if your interested in advertising with us as we will become a business contact and personally talk/communicate with you directly.

When is your next issue going out?

Books go out every quarter: March, June, September & December

Am I entitled to a discount if I/we do our own Ad copy?

Unfortunately, as doing your own Ad will help us to replicate what you have done, you must understand that our printing facility requires a certain format for processing and we must provide that format. But, yes, it does help for us to replicate your intension's.

Is there a discount for doing more than 1 area?

Absolutely, the more areas you place your Ad in, the better the price. We believe that if your going in multiple areas YOU deserve a break on price. Look on this site for complete pricing structures.

What page will my Ad be on?

If you have a preference, you must contact us early in the issue, like right now for any specific issue. Usually, we place the Ads at our discretion but, we can place you upon availability and based upon the amount of times you advertise with us.

Do we/I have a choice were in the book we are placed?

Usually at random, but you can request a page or pages depending upon there availability at the time. Regular & yearly customers come first.

How do I get a small/large front cover spot?

Easy, just request it and we’ll be happy to provide a spot on the front however, again, depending upon current availability for that area. The costs are explained on this website.

Can we send our design through e-mail? If so, where should we send it to?

Absolutely, in today’s world we communicate through e-mails and faxes as we all have busy lives. That is great for us too but, it needs to be in a format readable by us and the most common format is “PDF”. We do accept other formats and for that we need to communicate prior to you sending the files so we can confirm with you that we received it as intended. Can we fax our design to you? If so, what is the fax number?

Faxing is accepted, fax to 734.981.7898 however, if your sending a logo, picture or anything that needs to be clear, we suggest sending those files separately via e-mail or regular mail (unless we meet somewhere to pick it up – physically).

What is the cost and availability of getting on the back page?

Well, that’s a good question. Most of our regulars have locked in those back pages for years on end and if they move from them then, they loose out because someone is always waiting for there availability. There might be times when a business closes or stops advertising but, you would need to contact us and pretty much latch on to a multi-issue contract.

When does it start arriving in homes?

Usually the 1st weekend of the quarter; Friday, Saturday or Monday. Sometimes they get out earlier depending on the mail carriers load.

When do we/I need to get Ad copy to you?

As always, the sooner, the better. As soon as we get them, we process them and get them back for your review usually within a week.

What are your hours of operation?

We try and keep normal business hours but, in general you can reach us anytime because we have voice mail and always respond back either the same day or at least the very next day. (Vacations excluded)

How many people work for you?

We have no others working for us as we are a family owned & operated business.

Do you have sales Reps?

No, we work for ourselves, it’s better that way. Plus, we provide that personal touch that owners rather prefer so they know that we do not work for somebody else.

Who owns the areas?

Each area is independently owned & operated. Each franchise owner is in control of their own business and do not report to anyone else.

How do you collect money?

Upon signing a contract, per issue or yearly, we explain how we collect the funds for that issue. You have several options for which we will present at contract signing. We also accept the 4 major credit cards to make it more convenient for those businesses that need to track their expenses.

Do you accept checks?

Of course we do, as long as it is valid… Just kidding! We honor all checks as long as they have a valid account number, bank logo or name and a valid signature. If fact, we prefer a check or credit cards instead of cash, that way it stands little chance for error and not recording the transaction properly.

We accept Mastercard, Visa, Discover & American Express

What happens if we/I can’t pay all of the costs up-front?

We’ll cross that bring when we sign the contract and sit down with you.

We are a new business and do not know how to put together an Ad, can you help us?

We can help you design and create your Ad with very little creativity on your behalf, just provide us with the information and step back.

Can you put our logo on the Ad?

If you send us a clear copy via e-mail, postal or in person and within the proper format, we will do our best to put it in your Ad.

Are there any restrictions as to what is printed on the Ad?

We do not print anything that your child or family would be offended by and certainly nothing that falls into a questionable status. This is a publication that is dispensed to the general public.

Will we/I get a chance to review the Ad before it gets published?

Absolutely, we pride ourselves in providing you with a copy of the final product BEFORE it gets printed however, there are times when we have provided a respectable time period for your review and you, the business owner, has neglected to review with approval. We reserve the right to inform you that you have a period of time to review the Ad as presented or the Ad runs “as is”. This date and time is printed at the bottom of the proof. It’s up to the business owner (Ad approver) to follow through and NOT the responsibility of Clips Coupons or its owners.

How is the billing done?

For ease in understanding your desire to place an Ad with us, when providing you with a proof, we also provide you with an invoice explaining your financial responsibilities for that Ad. This is a reminder for payment and depending on the agreement with us, is a request for payment in full. Talk with us at contract signing for your options.

What can we/I expect upon Ad approval?

You will be invoiced and given a fair amount of time to review the proof given to you, if no response given by date & time on disclaimer (bottom of proof), Ad will run “as is” and you will be held responsible for invoice.

Why did you create this website?

As our business is growing, we needed a better way to convey our message to our current and future customers. This day and age requires us to move into the next level as we can not visit with everyone in all our areas for each issue. Plus, it’s time to move into the future and get with the times.

Are there more areas for me/us to advertise in?

Yes, but we would need to talk with you first as there are additional areas available with other franchisees. We would contact them and confirm availability for requested areas. We really need to talk with you regarding this situation but, it is very possible. Plus, you would still get a discounted rate for multiple areas.
